Our 5 Day Grizzly Viewing Motor Yacht Cruise in Northern British Columbia Inlets aboard the 54-foot motor yacht takes you to the famed Great Bear Rainforest.
This cruise begins and ends in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada. A return seaplane flight over the northern reaches of the picturesque Inside Passage to meet us in the First Nations village of Hartley Bay is included in the trip (except on Custom/Private charters.
Mountain peaks still blanketed in snow… towering granite walls laced with waterfalls that rise thousands of feet out of these magnificent inlets…and the lush green estuaries carpeted in wildflowers—are the perfect backdrop for photos of grizzly bears, black bears and many, many species of birds that come to these inlets to nest!
Definitive itineraries are impossible to give as we will travel, explore, wildlife view, bird watch, fish, and decide on anchorages according to weather, tides, wildlife sightings and your interests. The following however, will give you a beginning, an end and a “sampling” of what one could see.
The names of places that we will be traveling to are not included in this on-line tanneries. This is in an attempt to protect the wildlife here that is still threatened by trophy and sport hunting.
Our small groups allow a more personal experience
Our small group sizes provide our guests with the best wildlife viewing and safety while making the least possible impact on the lands we visit and the wildlife we view, something that is extremely important to us.
Our small group sizes allow our guests the most intimate experiences with nature and our photographers the best opportunities... as we travel rivers and tidal channels edged in bright purple lupines... as we sit in the midst of a meadow carpeted in wildflowers... as we wonder at the granite walls laced with waterfalls... as we witness a pair of swans eating grass alongside a Grizzly bear... or as we sit on the deck of the ship and wonder at the powerful landscapes that surround us.
